The Cherry Coke$

The Cherry Coke$ is a rock band of six people formed in Tokyo in 1990.

They use various acoustic instruments based on the punk rock and playing music incorporating elements of world music, including Celtic music.

So far they have released 7 full albums, 1 mini album, and 3 singles.

They have participated in major music festivals representing Japan such as Fuji Rock, Punk Spring, and the Count Down Japan.

In 2008, they supported Flogging Molly on their US tour and will be performing on the Salty Dog Cruise!

They have also supported the Japan tours from bands such as Rancid, Flogging Molly, The Casualties, The Suicide Machines, Murphy's Law, Greenland Whale Fishers, Blue King Brown, and Don Letts.

In 2010 they released My Story which was appointed for an opening song of the popular animation "Giant Killing" and have been expanding the range of activities.

The band is celebrating over 20 years together and has fixed position in Japan as one and only existance.
